Sorry I'm late in wishing you a Happy Birthday Cyndi! I hope you had the best day!
Love to you, char
Kirk, I guess you and I moved to Bountiful about the same time; in 5th grade.
I knew Velvet at Tolman as well. She was the nicest person, all the way through high school. She's the only "Velvet" that I've ever known. Always thought that was the coolest name. She was a beautiful person and I'm so sorry to hear about her passing. Make every day count! Love to all...
Fellow classmates,
Sorry for being tardy on sending condolences for my friend, Jeff Tingey. I am sad to hear of his passing.
I considered Jeff to be such a great friend in high school. We've lost touch since our Viking days, but my memory of him will never fade. I think we came to know each other in seminary. One great memory I will never forget is the day that Jeff, Brad Green and myself sluffed seminary and took off to Salt Lake (in Brad's hot car, of course), to attend General Conference. (Now that was a worthy sluff!) Jeff came to my house, VERY early on my 18th birthday, along with Kathy Rich and Julie Johansen, to wake me, blindfold me, and take me out to breakfast in my pajama's! Another memory I'll never forget. Jeff could always keep us laughing. He had such a great sense of humor. He could play the organ like it was second nature to him. I remember listening to him play in the home of his parent's. He was always a good friend to me, and for this I will be forever grateful. Thank you Jeff..

"I could be handy, mending a fuse, when your lights have gone
You can knit a sweater by the fireside, Sunday mornings, go for a ride
Doing the garden, digging the weeds, who could ask for more?
Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm sixty-four?"

Can't seem to get that song out of my head on your birthday today! :) We have lived in the best of times. Our music will never be topped. Hope all is going well for you my Friend, and that you have a fun birthday today. I'll be singing that song to you all day today, and hope that all who read this message will join in, as all of us have, or will, turn 64 this year! Happy Birthday sweet Cyndi!!!
Looks like you have a birthday coming up Cyndi. How did we get to be "63"? Make it a great one!! You're still such a doll!! Many happy memories with you. All the best!
