DUANE LEO DOMM - March 26, 1952 - January 16, 2022

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish.  Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Duane Leo Domm of Scottsdale, Arizona, who passed away at the age of 69, on January 16, 2022.  No services were listed

Duane was a great tennis player and on the Honor Roll while he attended Viewmont High.  Was more quiet, but always friendly to others.   Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Duane was one of my closest friends in high school.  I remember all the different cars he had - VW bug, Corvair, van, motorcycle, etc.  The two of us drove to California in his bug.  It rained in Las Vegas, so the two of us tried to sleep in the bug.  Not much room.  He was always smiling and happy.  He will be missed.

Duane was my boyfriend through ninth and tenth grade. He was my date for junior prom. I really liked him. He was the first person I ever knew who was good at tennis. He was on the high school team. Once in 1986 I randomly ran into him. He was electrician doing work on a condo we were buying in St George. I wish I knew how his life went but I'm sure it was good. He was a good guy.

Duane was my best friend. From grade school to high school and beyond, he was the brother I never had. We had so much fun and good times together. Vacations at his family cabin at Bear Lake, playing in our garage band, tennis doubles partner, crashin' & burnin' running from the cops on his Honda 50 (still got the scars to show for it), and living together for a couple of years were some of the best times of my life. But as life would have it, we chose different paths forward with our wives and families and have had just the memories to connect us the past several years. I know he was very successful and had a beautiful family that I was able to meet. I have no doubt he was proud of them and adored them. I'm sure they will miss him dearly.
I will remember the good times with Duane because with him there was never any bad. RIP Brother
